When is Pocket52 PSL Season 6 happening?

Pocket52 PSL Season 6 has many phases. Phase 1 is the Online qualifiers from June 16th to August 4th 2024. Phase 2 is the Virtual league matches from Sept 2nd to Sept 15th 2024 & Phase 3 is the Live finale from Sept 21st to Sept 25th 2024.

How can we participate in Pocket52 PSL Season 6?

You can be a part of one of the teams by playing a series of FREE to play online qualifiers on the Pocket 52 app.

Is there a registration fee?

No, Pocket52 PSL is FREE to register.

What are the perks of being a part of the team?

+
Upon qualification, you are guaranteed a base price of a minimum of INR 50,000 in the auction ceremony. Additionally, 25,000 credits will be rewarded on your Pocket52 account. . You will also receive an all-expenses-paid trip to Goa while you compete in the grand finale and feature on JioCinema.

How many total qualifiers are there, and how many can a player participate in?

There will be a total of 50 qualifiers. One qualifier at 8 PM from June 16th to August 4th. Each player can participate in a maximum of 8 qualifiers as per their convenience.

How many players can qualify through the qualification process?

Play any 8 of the total 50 qualifiers to score points and the top 42* on the leaderboard are guaranteed a spot in the Pocket52 PSL S6 team.(*Subject to retained players from the previous season)

Do I need KYC verification to play Pocket52 PSL qualifiers?

No, KYC verification is not required to play the qualifiers. In case you are in the top 42 players on the leaderboard we will cross-verify your KYC details at that stage. In case there is any irregularities found in your KYC, the management has the right to reject and disqualify you from participating in PSL.

Can I play Pocket52 PSL qualifiers if I am residing in a state where poker is banned?

No, Unfortunately if you belong to a state where online poker is banned then you would be restricted from playing PSL.

Can international players play the Pocket52 PSL qualifiers?

A player needs to be of Indian origin and should have an Aadhar card. For the live finale the player must be physically present in India.

What is the team composition for Pocket52 PSL S6?

Each team comprises of 12 players: 1 Team owner, 1 Captain, 3 Pros, 6 Qualifiers, and 1 Wildcard.

What is the schedule for Pocket52 PSL S6?

  • Qualifiers on Pocket52 - 16th June - 4th Aug
  • Auction on JioCinema - 20th Aug
  • Virtual Matches on JioCinema - 2nd Sept - 15th Sept
  • Live Matches in Goa - 21st Sept - 25th Sept

How does the auction work?

Once you make it into the top 42* players, you will go through a bidding process in the Auction ceremony, where the team owners and the captains will bid for you.(*Subject to retained players from the previous season)

What fee do I receive as a qualifier?

The base fee for a qualifier is INR 50,000, which serves as the starting bid amount during the auction. Additionally, you will receive INR 50,000 worth of tickets on Pocket52.

What action will be taken if a technical error occurs?

If you're unable to play due to slow internet connections, faulty hardware, internet connection failure, low computer configuration, or any other reason not attributable to us, we are not responsible for the issue.

Can I choose the team of my choice?

In PSL, our structure is one where the Team owner and the Captain select the players from the draft. Once selected, you have to play for the team you are selected for.

How are leaderboard points calculated for the Online qualifiers?

  • Points = 10 * (Sqrt(total no of entries) / sqrt(Rank of the player)) .

What are the T&Cs of the league?

  • If you belong to a state where online poker is banned then you would be restricted from playing PSL.

  • Management shall have the final say and holds the right to disqualify or restrict any player from participating in PSL.
